"Forget About It"

"Forget About It " was a troubled production, but for me still an enjoyable experience.
A commercial editor employed by a small post-production house in Phoenix was given the job of cutting this picture, which featured a great cast (Burt Reynolds, Charles Durning, Robert Loggia, Raquel Welch and Phillis DIller, among others) -- but multiple production problems. With little or no experience cutting narrative films, the original editor fell behind schedule. I was flown to Arizona for several weeks to help get the film back on track.
The below sequence is one of several I put together, with temp music added.
Several months later, the commercial editor was replaced, the Phoenix post-production house fired, the director squeezed out by one of the investors, and the executive producers sued by the writer and director. Though the majority of people involved in this movie have tried forget about it forever... I still consider my time on the picture memorable!
